Intel® Embedded Development Board 1-N450

Low cost modular reference board based on the Intel® Atom™ processor N450

The Intel® Embedded Development Board Series is a fully implemented, small footprint modular CPU-DIMM subsystem.

This processor is ideal for embedded applications that need low power and excellent application performance.

– No prior experience with Intel® architecture required
Here is the ideal solution for anyone who wants to get their idea up and running fast, without extensive hardware engineering – or anyone who is now using or considering other embedded architectures and is recommended for prototype designs, or to develop a proof of concept using ready built hardware.

Basing your solution on the Intel® CPU-DIMM platform is a great way to promote your ideas within the Intel® embedded community by posting your solutions on the discussion forums on the Intel® Embedded Design Center. Please use the @devboard tag to highlight your posts.

OS Support

OS installation instructions

For every OS that is tested on the board there will be a document that provides a quick overview for installation of the OS image to a USB memory stick, a CD or DVD. Contributions welcome!

Download link:

A permalink will be supplied for the version of every operating system that is tested with the development board. While every effort will be made to keep up to date with OS releases, note that newer versions than the tested ones may be available. Users are encouraged to submit their own test results, for working, and non-working operating systems, and to request additional OS support.
